埼玉県留学生交流推進協議会実施事業「埼玉学のすすめ Part12」として、埼玉県の特産品である狭山茶をテーマにした、日本人学生と留学生が一緒に楽しめる茶摘み?抹茶体験イベントを開催します。本イベントでは留学生と一緒に実際にお茶の農園へ赴きお茶摘みを経験することに加え、狭山茶の歴史や特徴を学び、茶道の基本的な作法を学びながら、自分で抹茶を点てる体験を行います。日本の伝統文化であり埼玉県の特産品である抹茶を通して、留学生達との交流をお楽しみください。
We will be holding a matcha experience event themed on Sayama tea, a specialty of Saitama Prefecture, where Japanese and international students can enjoy together. 
At this event, in addition to going to a tea plantation and experiencing tea picking, you will learn about the history and characteristics of Sayama tea together with Japanese students, learn the basic etiquette of the tea ceremony, and experience making matcha yourself. Enjoy interacting with Japanese students through matcha, a traditional Japanese culture and a specialty product of Saitama！
